The single titled “Devastated” was one of the most popular songs on the album, and it was musical risk for Joey because it went against his usual style. Joey released two singles leading up to the full album. Two of the biggest rappers featuring on this album are J. Joey raps about racial issues and the importance of equality for a large majority of the album. His newest album, All-Amerikkkan Bad*$$, follows the same classic sound, but adds a much deeper message. Many of his albums and mixtapes appeal to “old-head” hip-hop fans due to his style being similar to older rappers like Nas and Biggie Smalls.
